Not much comment needed - Scott Farquhar saved a man’s life during a trip to an Atlassian conference in the USA. The Team 22 conference is one of Atlassian’s regular events. Do these guys only do heroic stuff or something?
All comes after the (now suddenly gone silent - wonder what’s happened? Might follow up) shares-based pressure allowed Mike Cannon-Brookes to put some conditions on AGL with regard to upgrading their infrastructure to renewables a few weeks back.
I think there’s also movement on the Sun Cable front, which is set to become one of Australia’s biggest solar farm and baseload battery projects by orders of magnitude.
In addition to writing these articles I'm also experimenting with ways of recycling waste that can be done at the cottage industry or community hub levels, not so much because it'll magically convert 100% of local waste into recycled useful articles, but because people who are doing these sorts of activities are likely to talk about them to people in their community, and so raise even more awareness of the issues and dangers.
